Assemblies

The PTO sponsors numerous educational and “cultural enrichment” assemblies for the students.

Field Trips

Throughout the school year the PTO supports class field trips by assisting with the cost.

Fifth Grade Graduation

To celebrate our fifth graders graduation onto Junior High a breakfast is organized. Special commemorative t-shirts are also made available to these graduating students.

Fine Art Fair

Reading Incentive Programs

Students have the opportunity to participate in both these programs. Students need to read a required amount of time to receive a free ticket to the Six Flags Great America Theme Park and/or a Kane County Cougars Game.

Science Fair

This event, which takes place in March, encourages students to think like young scientists and engineers. It is an informal event with no competition. Students present experiments before judges, teachers, parents and their peers. All participants receive a participation certificate.

Use It Don't Lose It! Program

A summer math workbook program aimed to keep math facts fresh in students heads over the summer. Incentives are awarded to students who purchase, complete and return their workbooks to school in the Fall.
